• As a Mendix Developer, you build and improve Mendix applications for store employees. You design new functionalities, test and maintain apps, learn integrations with SAP and AWS, and work closely with experienced colleagues.
• By developing user-friendly and scalable apps, you help tens of thousands of colleagues work more efficiently. This ensures smooth store processes and indirectly contributes to a better experience for our customers.
• You are part of the Store Employee Experience team, together with Mendix developers, testers, UX designers, and business analysts. Together, you develop apps that make the work of thousands of store employees easier and more efficient.
• You work closely with senior Mendix developers, testers, UX designers, and business analysts. In addition, you learn from experts in SAP and AWS and gather feedback from store employees to improve apps.

As a Mendix Developer, you contribute to building and improving Mendix applications that are used daily by tens of thousands of colleagues in our stores. You work closely with other Mendix developers, testers, UX designers and business analysts. You learn how to design, build and maintain new functionalities, and how to keep applications scalable and user-friendly.

You’re never on your own. Senior colleagues actively support you and help you grow in Mendix development, our integrations (SAP, Mendix apps, AWS) and the way we work at Jumbo.

You’ll become part of the Store Employee Experience team. Here, we build Mendix applications for more than 50,000 store employees across over 700 stores. You collaborate with colleagues from different disciplines, such as QA, UX and Business Analysis. From time to time, you’ll visit stores to gather feedback or see how your applications are used in practice, a great way to understand how your solutions truly make a difference. Jumbo is dynamic: we move fast, continuously improve and expect you to spot opportunities and take initiative.

• 1-4 years of experience with Mendix
• Eager to learn, curious and ambitious
• You work in a structured way and have a strong eye for quality
• You communicate well and enjoy working together
• You show ownership and are comfortable with periodically being on stand-by (with compensation)
• A business-oriented mindset and strong analytical skills

• A gross monthly salary between €4,400 and €5,700 (based on a 40-hour workweek).
• An annual bonus of up to 5% of your yearly salary, depending on organisational objectives.
• 30 vacation days (with the option to buy or sell additional days) and 8% holiday allowance.
• Pension accrual through participation in the Industry Pension Fund for the Food Retail sector.
• Travel allowance of €0.21 per kilometre (up to 35 km one way). We enjoy working together at the office, but partial remote work is also possible.
