As a Solution Engineer, you strengthen the technology used in more than 700 stores. You keep our current store software reliable and help build a modern, cloud‑native platform. The role combines hands‑on engineering, collaboration and initiative. You help Jumbo move forward by improving systems, preventing issues and building new solutions.
Get started! This is what you will do
You work on stable store technology that colleagues use every day. You optimise existing third‑party store software and keep our legacy systems running smoothly. You dive into challenges around self‑checkout, scanners, checkout systems and store platforms.

You explore how we can use cloud‑native components effectively and how to strengthen monitoring, alerting and automation. You advise on choices in our transition to a new platform and contribute to the successor of the current R10 system.
You handle incidents, releases, testing, infrastructure questions and functional challenges. You collaborate with vendors to investigate issues or align solutions. You work in the Store Test Lab on new features, integrations and improvements.
