Get to work! This is what you will do
As Process Lead Mechanization you are the first point of contact for the production employees in Nieuwegein. You manage the team and work as a team towards the common goal: realizing the planned production. Of course, this is easily achieved because you keep a close eye on the process flow. To monitor this, you are in direct contact with the Control Room, the technical heart of our mechanized distribution center. Any process disruptions are quickly identified and solved or improved. Also, thanks to your clear instructions, the production workers know exactly what is expected of them!

• Solving problems that cannot or should not be solved by employees;
• Supervising and training new employees;
• Identifying and initiating possible improvements. You contribute to improvement projects;
• Compliance with company and safety regulations.

Our mechanized central distribution center in Nieuwegein has the most advanced and newest technology currently on the market. And that's what you, as process lead mechanization, get to work with. You will be working in a fast-paced world with an eye for tight planning. We do all this in a refrigerated environment in order to guarantee the quality of our products. This is the only way we ensure that our Jumbo customers do not encounter empty shelves. Within Jumbo we encourage all colleagues to grow, so it is possible to advance from this role to shiftlead, but there are also opportunities within the control room or the office in Veghel.

Together we are Jumbo: This is where you will be working 
Two shifts are active in the Central Distribution Center Fresh in Nieuwegein. You work in a fixed shift with one other process lead for production, reporting to the shift lead. Together, you ensure that everyone knows what is expected. Teamwork is very important at Jumbo, so extra attention is paid to that. Together we create a cozy and warm team where everyone feels at home.

• A gross salary between €3,200 and €3,600 per month (based on 36 hours);
• 25 vacations based on 36 hours (with the possibility to buy or sell vacations) and 8% vacation pay. You build up pension through participation in the Industrial Pension Fund for the Food Industry;
• An allowance for your travel expenses (€ 0.21 cents per kilometer with a maximum of 35 kilometers one way);
