As a Frontend Developer, you will play a key role in supporting Jumbo’s Retail Media ambitions. Retail Media is a rapidly growing area within Jumbo, and our challenge is to meet the increasing demand for campaigns from our advertisers by developing more efficient technical solutions. This enables us to better support campaigns operationally and to share results clearly, accurately, and quickly. That’s why we’re looking for the best developers.

Let’s get started – this is what you'll do
We are currently setting up a new team focused on the timely and accurate delivery of campaign results. This team was created from a business case to realize our data ambitions for Retail Media. As a Frontend Developer, you will help build a web interface that allows advertisers to easily view their campaign performance. You will be responsible for all frontend solutions within the team (such as embedded PowerBI dashboards), act as the main point of contact, and help define the frontend strategy.

You’ll work closely with the Data Engineers, supporting them with practical solutions to ensure that advertiser data is offered efficiently via the portal. Your goal: to help deliver the best data-driven Retail Media solutions for Jumbo. You’ll also collaborate with other teams and enjoy challenging colleagues to do things a little differently.

We’re starting the build this year, aiming to go live in summer 2026. After that, we’ll continue developing the platform with this team to achieve our long-term Retail Media goals.

In addition, you bring:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Front-end Developer
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Proven experience with a frontend framework such as Vue or Nuxt
• Experience with Git, and an understanding of GitFlow, unit testing, and end-to-end testing
• A solid grasp of Core Web Vitals and a passion for writing clean code
• Experience collaborating across teams on shared codebases (both web and native apps)
• A genuine interest in UX/UI, accessibility, and inclusive design

  A gross salary between €4.000 - €5.800 per month (based on 40 hours).
• An annual bonus of max 5% of your annual salary, based on organizational goals.
• 30 days of paid holiday (with the opportunity to buy or sell days of paid holiday) and 8% holiday allowance.

• An allowance for your travel expenses (€ 0.21 cents per kilometer with a maximum of 35 kilometers one way). We like to work together in the office, but you can also work partly from home.
