Get started! This is what you'll do
In your role, you’ll foster a culture where Continuous Improvement is at the center. You’ll ensure open and transparent communication and support a healthy work-life balance. The core values of the Jumbo DNA – Together, Winning, and Entrepreneurship – are central to everything you do.
An important part of your job is supporting the development of your team members. Through regular one-on-one meetings, providing constructive feedback, and linking this to development plans, you’ll help shape their growth.
In addition to coaching, you’re also responsible for recruiting the right people, monitoring the quality, cost, and stability of delivered platforms and software. You’ll ensure that your teams take full ownership of their implementations — “You build it, you run it, you own it!”
Together, we are Jumbo: Where you'll work
Jumbo, with more than 700 stores and 40+ warehouses, operates a complex supply chain. Frozen goods, fresh products, and groceries are delivered daily to our stores and online customers. This tightly scheduled process is supported by a broad landscape of applications, with a robust SAP solution at its core.
Within our IT department, we are looking for a driven Engineering Manager to lead two Supply Chain SAP teams. These teams are responsible for developing and rolling out the entire logistics process of our supply chain, including over 40 warehouses, in SAP S4.
Our current SAP ECC installation is nearing end of life and offers limited flexibility due to extensive customization. With the new SAP S4 version, we are implementing a much more standardized solution to better support our business and accelerate innovation. SAP S4 serves as the central hub, connecting to many surrounding systems, such as the Locus Warehouse Management System.
